Spring has sprung here in Japan! The sakura trees, tulips, and other flowers are in full bloom. I know some of you are still under piles of snow but hope the thought that spring is on the way brings a little smile to your hearts, too.
Thank you for your faithful prayers for us here in Japan. Here are some praises and prayer points for you to remember for the next month or so:
Praises:*Praise the Lord for a lovely day of fellowship and learning at the Kansai Christian Women’s Conference at the beginning of March.  The Holy Spirit led as I taught from Colossians 3 and we learned how to put on Christ.  I was able to share some of what I have learned in my studies, also.  Yuri led an encouraging time of prayer.*Praise for two youth gatherings in March.  The first gathering was for young adults, high school graduates, university students, and those recently joining the work force.  The fellowship and time of learning were encouraging.  The second gathering was for junior and senior high students.  We learned about our designer God and then designed t-shirts for our group.  It was fun for us as adults to sit back and watch the students work together to make a design that is meaningful for them.

*Praise for the opportunity to visit a friend’s English class to not only speak English with the students but also to share a short story about Easter with the students.

*Praise that I have had some opportunities to reconnect with friends from AGC (Anointed Gospel Choir) over the past few weeks.

*Praise that at Komyo Christian Church we are planning to have our traditional Easter Sushi lunch again after three years off!

*Praise for God’s grace in the junior high student’s life at Komyo Church as she passed the entrance exam for the high school she wants to attend.

Pray:

-Please pray for Yuri and me as we prepare for new ladies’ seminars, in new locations and also new curriculum.

-Please pray for Christians in Japan as Easter approaches, for opportunities to share about the importance of the day with those in our lives who do not yet walk with Jesus.

-Pray for me as I continue to minister to the youth of Komyo and Kongo churches (YEAH!) and in the Japan Baptist Conference (MixYouth).  Pray for me to know how best to teach and help the students learn to walk with Jesus.
