Village Creek Bible Camp This Week: Please pray for Louise & Morgan Meyer who will be attending Village Creek Bible Camp this week, June 10-16. You may write them a note of encouragement at: Village Creek Bible Camp, 1588 Drake Rd, Lansing, IA 52151.

Bread of Life Service Opportunity: Our church is partnering with First Baptist in George to help with the food ministry Bread of Life, through ATLAS. Our evening to serve is Wednesday, June 27, 5:30 p.m. at the Forster Center. Discussion Questions

1.What stood out to you in the service today?

2.Discuss this quote from Robert Coleman, “The apostolic church did not erect colleges or theological seminaries, or even set up educational seminars. They had instruction in the tenets of the Christian faith and life, but not in formal classes or institutional programs. To mold the life of their members, they simply got learners and teachers together in natural settings, where they lived and worked every day. Nothing was new in this approach. The church as the body of Christ was following the same approach to education their Lord had used with His disciples. It is the principle of the family, by which most of our basic values are learned in this life…..Any effective method of education must incorporate this dynamic.”

3.How is making disciples like being part of the family business?

4.Would you feel comfortable saying to someone, “Follow me as I follow the example of Christ”? Why or why not?

5.How does the Lord want you to apply what you learned today? Who does the Lord want you to minister to today? This week?
